Heidi Baldwin works as a primary school teacher on the North Coast of New South Wales and is the secretary for the school's P&C Committee. She is a member of The Co-creative, a team of tech professionals providing live streamed events and workshops across the globe, and also contracts her time to a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) supporting with content creation and maintenance.
Heidi has a keen interest in the impacts of mainstream media and social media on youth and the broader community. It was, therefore, a natural step for her to get involved with The Girl to Woman Festival after observing that many girls lack access to clear, positive and empowering information on what it means to be a woman.
Heidi maintains the G2W website, manages events, works with Arianne Kasi on the official social media pages and braids hair at the Beauty Tent on The Girl to Woman Festival day. She also works in collaboration with her husband Jonathan Baldwin to shoot, edit and produce G2W Video Content.
The Girl to Woman Festival is such a powerful day. The whole community comes together to celebrate, honour and cherish women. When we do this, the whole world benefits. I look forward to seeing this truly unique initiative expanding to offer another way into womanhood, one that is founded in deep self-worth, appreciation and absolute power." ~ Heidi Baldwin
