Ray Karam is a father of 5 children and co-owns multiple businesses on the North Coast of New South Wales. Ray grew up and lived in Casino until he was 20 years of age, where he then moved to Sydney to work in the NSW Police. He worked as a Police officer in both Sydney and Kyogle (rural NSW) for nearly 13 years in total.
After leaving the Police Force in 2006, Ray found himself at a crossroad. After taking a year off and then purchasing a business in 2007, he has developed for himself a way of living that is both loving for himself, his family and those that are around him.
He has committed to being open and just communicating simply with his partner and children, and found that the quality of the relationships he has with them has blossomed enormously.
Ray is a presenter for the Girl to Woman Festival around how it is being a father, raising young girls and boys in our current age. In addition to this, Ray and his wife Sarah Karam both organise, supply and serve the food and refreshments for the Festivals through their businesses Nourish Bulk Health Organic and Belle Central. Ray also leads into the community with his relationships in business, law enforcement and Governments of all levels.
For me it is a truly special thing to parent children especially parenting and watching young girls grow up. Girls, like all children, can grow so rapidly sometimes it seems overnight. Spending consistent time with my girls as they grow has been a focus for me." ~ Ray Karam
