For a healthy and naturally sweet treat this Christmas why not have some fun and make these fruit santas, fruit gifts or watermelon christmas trees! They look fabulous displayed on Christmas day and lots of fun for the kids too.

Nourish 101:
  • Being naturally sweet, fruit is a much healthier option for sweets instead of puddings and cakes filled with refined sugar.
  • Fruit also contains beneficial vitamins and minerals.

Recipe:
Fruit Santas
Ingredients:
  • 10 Green Grapes
  • 1 small banana, peeled and sliced into 1/2cm rounds
  • 10 small Strawberries, tops removed
  • 10 fresh Red Currants
  • Toothpicks

Picture
Method:
  1. Put together your fruit santas by threading grapes through toothpick followed by a piece of banana, strawberry and top with a fresh red currant.
  2. Keep in refrigerator until ready to eat.
Recipe Tips:
  • If you don’t have red currants you can also use blueberries.

Fruit Gifts
Ingredients:
  • 1/8 Watermelon
  • 1/8 Honeydew Melon
  • Fresh Cherries
  • Toothpicks

  1. Cut your watermelon and honeydew melon into even squares.
