The second Girl To Woman Festival, held in the beautiful town of Lennox Head NSW, saw a great turnout. The event came together by volunteers from the community who had responded to the cause in addition to many local businesses that supported this event.
The Festival held a certain vibe of celebration and true engagement with all attendees, there was excitement but at the same time it did not lose it’s founding quality – the importance of truly connecting with our girls, what’s going on for them, providing support and confirmation of who they are naturally, and supporting parents on how to deal with topical issues.

A thank you to all the supporters who volunteered their time and purpose to an event that is truly inaugural in its essence, and bringing about true awareness and change to society in regards to: celebrating, respecting and allowing us the space to express who we truly are as girls, women, and equally as supportive to boys and men.
This modern day festival has responded to the call, after recognising that there is not enough support out there in the world for our youth, or for the many avenues one can find difficulty with in life, such as; school, social media, friends, bullying, body image, etc. This was agreed on by the attendees, who were also able to get support and understanding about the importance of valuing and respecting ourselves, and more... Many parents concluded that they ‘wished they had this level of support around when they were younger!’ This was truly a collaborative community event, a success in all terms.
Lastly, the famous Belle General catered the event, supported by Nourish All of You for supplies. The Ballina located, extremely popular café was a hit and thoroughly enjoyed by all, from homemade banana bread, to nachos, to southern chicken styled salad. It was a delicious stall, at very affordable prices.
