The G2W is back! On Sunday 22nd of January The Girl to Woman Festival returns to Lennox Head Cultural and Community Centre. Now in its third year the Festival has become a must-attend event in the summer holidays, with regular festival-goers travelling from Grafton, Tweed Heads and even interstate for the 1 day event.
Exploring the issues that affect girls and young women while equally celebrating the qualities they bring the G2W Festival is open to the whole community – mums, dads, brothers, friends and in fact everyone who genuinely cares about the health and wellbeing of young women.
This year we ask the question 'Whose Role Model Are You?' to highlight the impact we can have on others when we embrace the fact that we are all role models all the time.
With a community forum, presentations and an enormous variety of activities, the G2W Festival is sure to be a day for people of all ages to enjoy. Some of the activities include: a film making workshop, perfumed body cream making workshops, face painting, a singing and expression workshop, beading, a nail painting station, and a pamper and nurture tent (great for both adults and kids).
Tickets are now available on the website and the full program has been posted online. Also look out for the lead up Video Workshop event on January 7th (details to be announced shortly).
In the meantime here are the photos from the G2W Festival 17 photo shoot with the gorgeous Arianne and Lulu. Photos by Shannon Everest.
