Shiloh’s Everyday
Meet 11-year-old Shiloh, who shares with us her thoughts on role models.
Shiloh: I would describe myself as funny, kind and adventurous. I love hanging out with my friends, playing basketball, doing flexibility things like walk overs, baking desserts like meringues, acting, walking my pugs, watching YouTube clips on how to bake and painting my nails.
What is a role model?
A role model is a person that can teach others and inspires people to do good things. Being a role model means you need to teach younger ones how to be kind, friendly and respectful, and a good person to other people.
Who are your role models?
My role models are my mum because she is kind and caring to others, my dad because he is hard working and never gives up, and my big sister Tash because even if things don’t work she gives things a try and makes decisions even if they are hard to make.
Whose role model are you?
I am Angelique and Emma’s role model because I try to teach them to be kind, funny and caring to others. I am their role model because I’ve been by their side their whole lives and they look up to me.
