Arianne Kasi is a third-year medical imaging student, based in Brisbane. Whilst studying full-time and working part-time, Arianne also volunteers on various community projects. As a young, caring, committed and responsible woman, she was asked to be the face of The Girl to Woman Project. Since this time, Arianne has become more involved with the initiative by overseeing its social media platforms with Heidi Baldwin, writing and proofreading content, inaugurating the ‘Whose Role Model Are You?’ campaign and supporting with G2W’s overall organisation and management.
Having recently experienced the high school process and all the pressures, ideals and beliefs related to the teenage years, Arianne is passionate about offering young girls a reflection of how to deal with all of this, whilst living true to you.
What drew me to become a part of the G2W Project, was its purpose. What it offered was exactly what is needed in our modern times to support girls and teenagers to transition into becoming empowered young women. This project simply, and yet profoundly, supports young women to deal with the issues, pressures and ill beliefs at hand, and to lead life knowing who you are first. It is a one of a kind.” ~ Arianne Kasi
