2016 Girl to Woman Ambassador, Ayla, sings 'Let it Go'
Girl to Woman ambassador, Ayla, sings ‘Let it Go’ with the support of Catherine Dillon. This song was written by Emmalee Benhayon and Michael Benhayon from GM Records. Presented to a large audience, it shows the importance of giving voice to our younger generation, providing the space for them to feel empowered to express in full.
2016 Girl to Woman Theme Song
‘Stronger’ written by Emmalee Benhayon was chosen as the 2016 Girl to Woman Theme Song. Natalie Benhayon and Iris Pohl brought the community together to create a film clip which resonates with young people. Filmed in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, it features local teens growing up in the modern world. It’s relatable and practically shows how to be a role model to those around you.
2015 Girl to Woman Theme Song
The very first Girl to Woman Festival in 2015 was inaugurated with a Theme Song by Rachael Kane. Titled ‘The Girl to Woman Song’, it aims to celebrate, confirm and acknowledge young women. Directed and edited by Media Educator Rebecca Asquith, it captures the true essence of girls and women with a grace and beauty that is rarely celebrated in pop music.
