The Girl to Woman Festival came to Tenterfield!!
In its third year, G2W has become a feature event of Lennox Head on the East Coast was set to expand. Offering a space to celebrate girls, women and the community that supports them, it's a chance for the whole family to come together. There was:
  • A Pop up Cafè sponsored by the renowned Belle Central,  offering delicious healthy food at family affordable prices
  • Weaving workshops with local Aboriginal Elder Dolly
  • Workshops to make your scented creme
  • Healthy cooking classes
  • A slime making workshop
  • A henna tattooing stall
  • An origami table
  • A Living Resume stall with one-on-one sessions
  • Discussion Groups for adults and teens around modern issues like social media, transitioning to high school, maintaining friendship groups and promoting  healthy body image
  • A Photo Booth to take snaps of the day
  • A Natural Beauty Tent where girls and women got to have their hair braided or styled and makeup done professionally
  • A second Natural Beauty Tent offering quality makeup products for the girls and women to explore their own style
  • A singing and Expression Workshop hosted by professional singers
  • A dancing class
  • A face painting stall
  • A nail painting table
  • A group mural project completed by all attendees around the #WhoseRoleModelAreYou theme
  • Free show bags for the first 80 people to book Early Bird tickets online
