THE MELBOURNE 2018 GIRL TO WOMAN FESTIVAL

The Melbourne Girl to Woman Festival will be held at Functions on Chapel, Prahran on Sunday 29th April 2018. It’s a specific day to celebrate the girls and women in the community. Open to everyone, the festival offers something for people of all ages and is designed as an enriching family event. Initiated four years ago and held at the beautiful beach side town of Lennox Head near Byron Bay, this annual festival has continued to expand to now offer an event in Melbourne with an even greater variety of workshops, activities, presentations, classes, discussion groups and natural beauty sessions.
The Girl to Woman Festival is fast becoming an iconic not to be missed event for families and people travel from around the country to participate and volunteer in its delivery. Ticket prices include complementary gift bags for the first 150 attendees and can be purchased online at Eventbrite. ​

G2W DISCUSSION GROUPS

The Girl to Woman discussion groups are an important part of the festival day. With groups designed for parents and teens, they offer a collaborative space to discuss and share experiences and insights around topical issues impacting modern society. Issues around body image, transitioning to high school, self-confidence and social media are discussed in groups facilitated by experts in the field.
